Heather M. Ford, MSW, LMSW

Hi, I am Heather Ford, a licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years experience in the mental health field. I've done it all from working both inpatient and outpatient mental health, couples counseling, substance abuse, domestic violence, onsite trauma support, and juvenile probation. In the last 10 years, I've led clinics and programs around the world in several Director level roles. I love leading teams, training staff on behavioral health issues, supervising new clinicians, and providing onsite support and consultation to employers. I am a commissioned officer and combat veteran, and served nearly 10 years as a clinician with the US Air Force. I received my Masters of Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University in 2007 and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of Michigan. It's an honor to work with adults, couples, and employers. My military experience provides credibility and expert care working with veterans and 1st responders. My approach is warm, caring, and assertive. I will encourage you to push yourself to do everything you can to feel better. I will level with you, coach you and motivate you to live the life you've imagined.
